Angel Names Association is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization that provides a variety of supportive services to families of stillborn children. Its programs provide financial assistance for end-of-life expenses such as autopsy, funeral, cemetery and monuments, and for counseling services for uninsured or underinsured parents. It also provides funding for much-needed stillbirth research. Although ANA’s primary focus is on stillbirth, several of its programs are designed for families who endure miscarriage, stillbirth and infant death.
Awakening Grace is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that encourages families during the loss of a child during pregnancy and infancy to grieve bravely, heal gently, and remember boldly. They believe that these stages of grief should be passed through in each person’s own time. To support these families, Awakening Grace provides care packages during or after their loss at any time.
The BeliEve Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that helps grieving families in Minnesota facing hardship after the death of their child by providing immediate and practical financial assistance and partnering with other organizations to offer ongoing emotional support and healing.
Brief Encounters is a is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, nonsectarian group for parents whose babies have died before, during, or after birth. Brief Encounters provides meetings in the greater Portland, Oregon area and local phone support. At informal, mutually supportive meetings, bereaved parents and their families share their stories, discuss issues that arise around pregnancy and infant loss, and remember their children. Through talking or just listening, we learn what grief is and how, through understanding and caring, we heal.
David's Kindness is a non-profit that spreads David's love through random acts of kindness and providing care packages to parents suffering miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant loss.
The Fletcher Foundation brings hope to families who are grieving after a miscarriage or stillbirth, as well as provide financial assistance to those enduring financial burdens due to the loss of a child. Our heart is to point mothers and families in a season of grief to joy and life after loss.
Hayden's Helping Hands is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that helps U.S. families in the midst of tragedy. They assist families after the birth of a stillborn baby by paying for a portion or all of their hospital delivery expenses.
Molly Bears is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that exists to create a positive and comforting impact for families enduring any form of infant loss. A Molly Bear can be created for children up to one year of age at the time of passing. Molly Bears can weigh as little as one-half ounce or as much as 14 pounds.
Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that offers the gift of healing, hope and honor to parents experiencing the death of a baby through the overwhelming power of remembrance portraits. Professional-level photographers volunteer their time to conduct an intimate portrait session, capturing the only moments parents spend with their babies. Parents are gifted with delicately retouched heirloom black and white portraits free of charge.
Project Robby is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that believes that all babies are special no matter how tiny, premature, or short their life here on Earth. Project Robby gives parents who have lost a baby something special to hold onto when they are no longer able to hold their baby. Their bereavement sets (18-40 weeks gestation) are sent to hospitals and bereavement photographers all over the United States for babies who are born prematurely and unfortunately will not survive. Through our Keepsake Set program (4-36 weeks gestation) they send out bereavement sets to parents who request them no matter how early their loss. For losses over 36 weeks gestation they provide a set of angel wings.
The Star Legacy Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to reducing pregnancy loss and neonatal death and improving care for families who experience such tragedies. The Star Legacy Foundation provides grief support, education, advocacy, supports research, and works to provide awareness around stillbirth and perinatal loss.
String of Pearls is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was created to provide a nurturing and safe place for families as they navigate the path following a fatal prenatal diagnosis that will result in the death of their baby prior to, or shortly after birth. The path between grief and hope is a difficult place to walk; our desire is to provide guidance, compassion and practical suggestions as plans to honor the life of pre-born babies are crafted. Each life has a story worth telling and we are here for support as stories are lovingly written.
The TEARS Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that seeks to compassionately lift a financial burden from families who have lost a child by providing funds to assist with the cost of burial or cremation services. We also offer parents comprehensive bereavement care in the form of grief support groups and peer companions.
